Responsible for establishing relationships with corporations, requesting donations from them, and maintaining a record of sponsorships. CR Directors will reach out to 1-3 new companies/organizations weekly via email. General and executive YM Sisters members can apply.

Job Duties: 
  1. Send emails to 2-3 companies/organizations each week
  2. Do light research on companies/organizations to ensure alignment with YM Sisters’ values 
  3. Respond to questions the potential sponsors may have or redirect to the appropriate department 
  4. Participate in monthly CR team meetings 
 
Qualifications:
  1. Must be above age 15
  2. Complete work in a timely manner
  3. Perform efficient research 
  4. Communicate professionally

Responsible for identifying and pursuing funding opportunities for the organization, including grants from non-profit and government organizations. Discover and/or generate unique ways to fundraise.

Job Duties: 
  1. Research opportunities to generate income (ex. non-profit government grants, corporate funding)
  2. Review all qualifications and submit applications to external organizations 
  3. Generate unique fundraising initiatives for cities with execution plans

Review the city financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Follow up with cities to resolve any missing information or ask for clarification. Generate metrics based on reported information and prepare reports for cities. Help prepare financial statements with Treasurers.

  1. Develop effective digital marketing campaigns for regional and national-level events.
  2. Guide cities in using effective marketing strategies for their major events.

Responsibilities:
  1. Tailor digital marketing strategies to the event by considering target audience, goals, and available resources.
  2. Create and execute a marketing plan which considers the social media platform(s), the content creation, and a content calendar.
  3. Collaborate with the cross-functional teams involved align marketing campaigns with event objectives.
  4. Lead the team of designers to ensure consistent branding throughout all marketing materials.
  5. Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends to keep campaigns fresh and innovative.
  1. Regularly oversee the cities’ social media outlets and suggest improvements for design and marketing strategies directly to the cities’ social media coordinators.
  2. Ensure that all cities align their media content with YM policies and guidelines of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Responsibilities:
  1. Receive training in creating effective graphic designing and marketing strategies.
  2. Guide cities in growing their social media presence through regular activity and organizing campaigns.
  3. Collect and organize media content (videos, images) from cities and regional events (i.e. conferences, retreats, etc.) for YM Sisters Canada Website and national social media outlets.
  4. Encourage cities to participate in social media campaigns for national events.
  5. Temporarily handle a city’s social media outlet if the social media coordinator is no longer in their position. 
          1. Develop, research, and plan content strategies and campaigns for media projects.
          2. Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
          3. Create content calendars for all team members to ensure timely delivery of content.

          Responsibilities:
          1. Identify the target audience and plan appealing and/or interactive content that resonates with them. 
          2. Stay updated with world events that reflect the values and vision of YM and with events and projects of YM cities and generate creative content ideas.
          3. Collaborate with graphic designers and video creators to enhance visual content as part of the marketing strategy.
          4. Monitor and suggest viable improvements to the performance of social media content.

          Responsibilities:
          1. Create visually engaging graphics and layouts of social media posts, campaigns, and other forms of content.
          2. Develop templates and style guides for consistent branding across social media platforms.
          3. Collaborate with content planners to create visual assets that complement the content plan.
          4. Develop skills in use of Canva as a collaborative platform to create graphics. (Prior experience is required)
          5. Ensure all design work is aligned with visual standards.
          6. Meet the media project deadlines according to team schedules.
          1. Conceptualize, script, record, and edit videos for media projects.
          2. Collaborate with content planners to create engaging video content across a target audience.
          3. Use collaborative video software to create and edit good-quality videos. 

          Responsibilities:
          1. Develop video concepts and layout based on content strategy.
          2. Record good-quality video clips with approved equipment.
          3. Edit video content, add visual effects, and enhance audio quality.
          4. Receive training to use Canva or an approved collaborative video editing software for media projects.
          5. Ensure the video content and design is aligned with visual standards.
          6. Meet the media project deadlines according to team schedules.
          1. Developing a YM syllabus/curriculum for all our members by reviewing books and lectures and other content and releasing on the YM website portal
          2. Preparing study circle guiding questions
          3. Should be active members in their own YM cities so they can collect feedback on the curriculum and revise/update it based on YM’s needs
          1. Developing the content and ideas for YM’s yearly thematic calendar for cities to follow
          2. Researching and developing the sources for the local halaqat
          3. Responsible for collecting feedback regarding the implementation of these topics in halaqat (and whether girls are delivering incorrect information and how this can be resolved)
