DEPARTMENTS
TARBIYAH DEPARTMENT
As per our goal to create polished, strong, learned, confident Muslim leaders in Canadian society who enact the Qur’an and Sunnah in their lives, there is a strong need for tarbiyah of YM members. This will enable them to faithfully carry out their duties to Allah (SWT) of iqamat-ud-deen and serve their Canadian society. This department will implement the vision of YM through:
- Developing regular training and character development workshops that focus on integrating Islamic knowledge with practical life skills
- Running initiatives, such as study circles, that strengthen understanding of Islamic matters in a focused environment of enriching discussions
- Leadership and Da’wah: Focusing on training that prepares youth to become daa’iyahs and confident Muslim leaders for an Islamic youth organization

OUTREACH DEPARTMENT
YM’s main pillars are sharing the Message of the Qur’an and community service, so to serve this purpose, the outreach department is:
- Responsible of reaching out to local YM chapters to help initiate community projects
- Responsible for highlighting nation- and world-wide issues/crises
- Geared towards projects and events serving the Canadian society, humanitarian efforts, fundraising, and developing a Muslim youth presence in our communities
- Geared towards youth oriented programming including webinars, workshops, and conferences for various Islamic or youth related topics

FINANCE DEPARTMENT
As an organization that works for the betterment of our Canadian society, it inevitably needs monetary support to work optimally. Thus, this department is responsible for:
- Managing all finances of YM
- Providing directions and strategies to cities to be utmost efficient with their budget and manage their finances (income and expenses) well
- Providing a budget to local YM chapters

MEDIA DEPARTMENT
In this digital age, virtual campaigns are an excellent tool to educate the wider community and create awareness of important issues. This department will plan and execute media projects in all of our existing social media outlets to serve our goal.
