ACTIVITIES

Below are the activities happening at the grassroots level in YM Sisters.

Halaqat

The arabic word which means a ring and it is used to refer to a circle where Islamic knowledge is discussed. It is also used in YM to refer to a gathering where fun, food, sisterhood, and Islamic knowledge all comes together.

Sisters' Hangouts

Building good companionship is essential to thriving as a Muslim. Thus, YM Sisters build sisterhood and a community of Muslim sisters that uplift each other in faith and the different stages of life.

Community Service

Islam has emphasized serving the needy, vulnerable, and poor in the society since it was revived by Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Thus, our youth organization would never be complete until we instill serving the community in our members. Serving the underprivileged is how our communities thrive.

Da'wah Projects

We aim to build the youth that takes the message of Islam into their communities. For this, we carry out various projects that are aimed to share the message of Islam with the non-Muslims in our communities.

Skills-Based Workshops

Sometimes, our workshops are intended to be fun (i.e. Arabic Calligraphy workshop), while other times they are intended to be informative (i.e. Mental Health workshop).
