Zainab Fatima
NATIONAL COORDINATOR
Zainab Fatima will be continuing her role as the National Coordinator and chair of YM Sisters Board for 2023, inShaAllah. She lives in Kitchener and is completing her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from McMaster University. She has a great passion for leadership, public speaking, and community development. Through YM, she aims to build a Canadian society where Muslim girls can confidently carry Islam and invite others to also struggle for the establishment of Islam.

Ammara Syeda
VICE-NATIONAL COORDINATOR
Ammara Syeda is from Saskatoon and has been involved with YM for the past 6 years now. She is currently a student at the University of Saskatchewan and is studying Psychology and Computer Science. Ammara Syeda will be joining the YM Board for the year 2023 as the Vice-National Coordinator, inShaAllah. In the future, she hopes to use her skills and knowledge to create lasting changes in the way mental and physical healthcare is approached in western society!

Uneeba Saeed
OFFICE SECRETARY
Uneeba Saeed will be joining the YM Board for the year 2023 as the Office Secretary, inShaAllah. She is in grade 11 and has been with YM for 3 years. She is currently residing in Toronto, ON. She is passionate about YM and well-versed in technical skills, as well as having a creative and open mindset. She wants to use those skills and abilities to help young girls build a healthy, strong community.

Rhumessa Ahmad
FINANCE CHAIR
Rhumessa has been in YM as an executive team member since 2017 and it has offered her so much in terms of closeness with her Deen and with the Ummah. As Finance Chair, she hopes to help cities operate free of financial barriers, so they may create the best possible experience for all members! Currently, she is a student at the Schulich School of Business, specializing in accounting. She looks forward to YM’s growth and many more years of friendship, faith, learning, and leadership InshaAllah!

Fabiha Neera
MEDIA CHAIR
Fabiha Neera joined the YM Board as the Media Chair for the 2023 year. She is from Calgary and has been a part of YM for the past 3 years. She is currently in her third year studying Software Engineering at the University of Calgary. Using her technical skills and experience, she wants to continue efforts of establishing Islam and building a strong community for our youth today. She will contribute to YM’s vision of guiding youth women to carry the message of Islam confidently and without barriers.

Hareem Asif
WEST REGION COORDINATOR
Hareem Asif will be joining the YM Board for the 2023 year as the West Region Coordinator, InShaAllah. She lives in Calgary and is in her second year doing Criminal Justice at Mount Royal University. She wants to use YM as a tool to create a society in Canada where Muslim women can proudly represent Islam and encourage others to join them in their effort to its spread.

Hadiyah Arif
WESTERN ONTARIO REGION COORDINATOR
Hadiyah Arif will be joining the YM Board for the 2023 year as the Western Ontario Region Coordinator, InShaAllah. She is currently located in Windsor, ON and has been a part of YM for the past 6 years. Hadiyah is studying biology at university of Windsor. Her vision in YM is to help build a strong community for the Muslim girls and help strengthen each other’s imaan.

Mahnoor Fatima
EAST REGION COORDINATOR
Mahnoor Fatima will be joining the YM Board for the year 2023 as the East Region Coordinator, inShaAllah. She is from Ottawa and has been a part of YM for the past 6 years. She is currently a student at Carleton University and is studying Software Engineering. Her vision in YM is to help build a platform where Muslim girls can come together to learn and spread the deen of Allah SWT as a community, inShaAllah.
